Morrison Artists Series reaches another level of brilliance

The Dec. 14 Morrison Artists Series concert featuring Time for Three was “brilliant,” “on another level,” “sprightly” and “beautiful,” combining “tight-knit ensemble playing and individual bursts of technical brilliance,” music critic Joshua Kosman writes in the San Francisco Chronicle.

“In the course of a quick 75-minute set in San Francisco State University’s McKenna Theatre, as part of the school’s great Morrison Artists Series of free chamber music events, the group moved easily among original numbers, bluegrass standards and classical mashups,” Kosman writes in the Dec. 16 article. “Spirits were high, and the level of execution was even higher.”
