Creative Arts staffer designs and paints

Mary Ford — responsible for designing the College of Creative Arts’ posters, fliers and other promotional materials — is also an active painter. Twenty of her recent oil paintings will be on display at Jungle Digital Printing in downtown Palo Alto from Dec. 5 to 31. Ford’s opening reception will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 5 during the monthly Palo Alto Art Walk.

Ford, the graphic designer in Creative Arts, has worked at SF State since 2001. An artist throughout her life, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Towson State University in Baltimore.
