Fall Into Jazz: Combo Night

Instrumental bands present their take on the standards of straight-ahead, post-bop jazz.

SF State’s longtime excellence in jazz and world music continues today, as students follow in the giant steps of famed alumni including Cal Tjader, John Handy, Wesla Whitfield, George Duke and Kitty Margolis. This annual festival features three nights of invigorating concerts that showcase the diversity of this truly global, yet uniquely American, art form.
